Clash of the Titans (2009 remake) A large part of this feature will be filmed in Wales.  It is reported that Sam Worthington (of Terminator 4 fame) will be filming in Llanberis, near the Dinorwig power station, over the Summer and no doubt staying in the area.  See the BBC report on this Filming Huge Boost To Local Economy

Coming Down The Mountain Filmed on the mountains in Snowdonia
Dolybollywood BBC New Nation series.  The actor Mayur Verma, or more famously known as Raj in Bollywood circles, has moved his family to Dolgellau.  The programme tells how he enrolled local people to take part in a Bollywood production in Dolgellau and also about his love of Fairbourne (where his wife owns a restaurant) and Dolgellau plus his ambition to be an ambassador for the region.  See details of Cafe Indiana, his wife's restaurant on our Places to Eat page.  Find out more about Raj's life.

First Knight Shot largely in Snowdonia.  Camelot was built at the edge of Trawsfynydd Lake.  Some scenes were filmed in the hills around Blaenau Ffestiniog north of Trawsfynydd.  Also filmed around the Mawddach estuary, Llanfair slate caverns, and Black Rock Sands

The World Is Not Enough Snowdonia National Park
Tomb Raider 2, Lara Croft and the Cradle of Life The main locations were Nant Gwynant and Llyn Gwynant near Beddgelert.  Other scenes were filmed at Pen Y Pass, Moel Siabod, Fynnon Llugwy and the Alexandra Slate Quarry near Carmel where a 100ft drop down a cliff was filmed.  A motorbike race was filmed and along and near a "Great Wall of China" which was filmed at Pen y Pass with the wall being created using CGI.  Originally many of these scenes were meant to be filmed in China but the authorities refused permission.  Official film site.
