Welsh Highland Heritage Railway

Also in Porthmadog but their station is down near to the Porthmadog mainline train station.  Their website says that they're a bit different and they certainly are.  For a start your ticket doesn't just give you a ride on a train but also access to an interactive museum, a children's farm, the chance to help the guard turn the train around and a ride on a miniature railway too.  Best of all your ticket lasts all day so you can do it all as many times as you want.
