Log Cabin Location

Cadair View Lodge's log cabin accommodation is set on the mountain side at Bronaber, near to Trawsfynydd in Gwynedd, North Wales.

We are within the southern part of Snowdonia National Park with Coed y Brenin mountain biking and running trails just 2 miles away south with Trawsfynydd Lake (covering approx. 1,200 acres) around 3 miles to the north.

Most of the cabins have views over the surrounding mountains (Rhinogydd, Cadair Idris, Diffwys).

This accommodation is all located within the Trawsfynydd Holiday Village, which is a quiet and peaceful location even in the middle of Summer.  Please note that we are a completely independent company and not linked to Trawsfynydd Holidays Ltd.  We recommend that guests have access to their own transport when visiting the cabins but there are public transport options available.

The Rhiw Goch, which serves food, is a few minutes walk away from the log cabins.

Quarryman’s Cottage Location

Our stone, terraced cottage, Quarryman’s Cottage, is located on a quiet residential street in the village of Manod.

Within a couple of hundred yards of the front door there are footpaths leading onto open countryside and mountains.

This cottage is ideally located for those wanting to travel on the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways, ride the Antur Stiniog DH trails, visit ZipWorld, Bounce Below, Llechwedd Slate Mines or explore the North Wales coast and northern Snowdonia.  The scenic Conwy Valley train line (from Llandudno Junction) has a station at Blaenau Ffestiniog and there are local buses, making this a good choice for visitors wanting to visit without their own transport.
