Llys Ednowain is a hostel / bunkhouse in the centre of Trawsfynydd village in the heart of Snowdonia National Park. The village is just off the A470 making the hostel an ideal accommodation base for activities across North Wales.
There are 3 ensuite rooms, each of which can be booked individually and a communal kitchen. There is also a drying room, washing machine/tumble drier (coin operated), a meeting room with projector (at extra charge), lockable bike storage and a car park for 7 vehicles (additional parking available).
Prysor - 4 sets of bunk beds, en suite shower room - sleeps up to 8 people
Eden - 3 sets of bunk beds, en suite shower room - sleeps up to 6 people
Islyn a Cain - 2 rooms each with 3 single beds, en suite shower room - sleeps 6 people
The charge is £27.50 per person per night. Price includes bed linen (guests must bring their own towels). A minimum charge of £110 per room per night applies (equivalent to 4 people).
The hostel has a Visit Wales 4* rating and is Walker / Cyclist Welcome graded too.
Trawsfynydd Lake, 5 miles long, is just a few minutes walk away. The lake is renowned for its fishing with International competition being held there. There is a marked path right around the lake. The cafe at Trawsfynydd Lake is 2 miles away and serves food during the day.
