Everybody knows that Snowdonia is a great place for mountain biking - so many trails within a small area means lots of varied riding, for all weathers and all experience levels.  But where should you stay for your next mountain biking trip?  At Cadair View Lodge we are not only in the Heart of Snowdonia but we're also in the centre of the mountain biking action that takes place in and around North Wales.  See the trails listed below and the distances from our accommodation to them.

We've been welcoming mountain bikers to stay with us since the business began in 2003.  We know what our guests are looking for and what matters to them.  Take a look at what we offer and see whether we provide what you and your friends are looking for when you plan your next mountain biking weekend.

Coed y Brenin mtb trails

Cadair View Lodge's log cabins are just 2 miles away from the visitor centre at Coed y Brenin Forest Park - the UK’s first modern trail centre.  There are trails here to suit everybody from beginner to professional.  It is possible for guests to ride directly from the front door of their log cabin onto the mtb trails without having to ride down that A470 or drive to the trail centre.  Bike hire available from Beics Brenin.
