Whilst we're in lock down we've been asking for people to send us their Fantasy Weekends in Snowdonia the things that they're looking forward to doing when lock down ends. This contribution is from Diana, one of our guests.
For me my ideal weekend in Snowdonia would be in the summer or early autumn starting with breakfast or a coffee in the sun on the deck of the cabin. We would then take a drive out through the beautiful scenery to the picturesque Bala. Firstly a stroll around the local shops and lunch in Y Cynfod on the High Street. We'd follow this with a walk up to and around the stunning Bala lake and take in the natural beauty and calm of the area. A drive back to the cabin and a couple of glasses of wine and a nice meal bought from the Rhug Estate on the cabin deck. Later in the evening when it gets dark we would gaze into the night sky at the crystal clear stars above the holiday village.
The next day would again start with breakfast on the deck looking out on to the amazing scenery, and then a drive to Barmouth. Park the car up and take a walk around the town, with a pit stop at a cafe for a drink. Then we would walk a long the sea front about 10 minutes to the Min-Y-Mor seafront hotel for lunch outside overlooking the seafront, can recommend the lovely sandwiches and baskets of chips. After a relaxing lunch a walk back ot the car and return to the cabin for another evening outside on the deck with a nice meal, and then we may take a wander up higher in the holiday village to look up to the beautiful night sky surrounding the area and beyond"
An amazing place to take a step back out of the hustle and bustle of daily life and totally relax and remember what it important in life x
