Sunday morning saw us wrapped up and off early to Fitzpatrick's cafe in Bethesda to set-up with our friends from Harley Riders Gwynnedd and Mon. After breakfasts, coffees, catch-ups and the obligatory photos 12 bikes and 17 members headed out for a "tour" of Snowdonia.
Taking in the stunning scenery of the Ogwen Valley, the remoteness of the moorland above Ysbty Ifan and the views of the Vale of Ffestiniog.
We stopped for a panad in the busy Lakeside cafe at Tanygrisiau where, it seemed, lots if other bikers had decided to do the same.
After a quick fuel stop for some at Penrhyndeudreath it was off to the coast with sea views along the coast at Criccieth (no ice creams today - sorry Cadwaladers 🤔) and on to Buffers cafe on the station platform at Pwllheli.
By now the sun was beginning to drop and so did the temperature but we jumped back on the bikes and headed for the North coast of the Llyn peninsula. Riding towards the sunset we rode along the beach road at Dinas Dinlle to the cafe at Caernarfon airport.
A final panad for some then goodbyes and a ride home.
A circular trip of more than 100 miles and a great day out.
This route could be done as a circular day out from our accommodation in Trawsfynydd (by bike or by car). There are lots of places to stop to see en route ask us for the details.
