A Bargain For Thomas The Tank Engine Fans
We know that very often it's not the price of accommodation that makes a holiday un-affordable but more what will be spent during the holiday. This is especially true when there are children who need entertaining or who are being tempted by ice creams, attractions and gift shops. There are lots of steam trains to see in Snowdonia but if you have a small train fan then 1 journey may not be enough.
The people at Fairbourne Railway have introduced a Day Rover ticket that allows for riding the trains all day.
The journey may not be the longest in Snowdonia but for a small engine fan I'm sure that this doesn't matter. Their "smaller" engines are less intimidating for little people too. The scenery along the spit of land out to the ferry terminal is lovely and there are refreshments and toilets available at Fairbourne. There are lots of photo opportunities and memories to be made.
